The Southeast Region's Climate
Climate is the kind of weather an area gets over a long time.
The northern states in the Southeast Region get all of the seasons - summer, spring, fall, and winter! But the further south you travel toward Florida, the less you'll notice the seasons change.
Winters can be very arid, or dry, with temperatures getting colder the further north you go. The summers, on the other hand, can be hot and humid, or wet. Summer temperatures can push into the 90s and 100s the further south you travel!

Many creatures live in the Southeast Region and have learned to adapt, or change themselves to live in, this region.
