The Western Region's Climate

Climate is the kind of weather an area gets over a long time.

There are many different climates in the Western Region since there are so many states. These states stretch up to the north and into Canada. Alaska is the state that's furthest north and it isn't attached to North America like the other states, it's attached to Canada.

The states that are further east are warmer and more
arid, or dry, through the year. States that are to the west (toward the Pacific coast) and toward the north are colder and more humid, or wet.

Many creatures live in the Western Region and have learned to adapt, or change themselves to live in, this region.
