Forests cover most of the Northeast Region. Forests give us trees and trees give us lumber. The lumber can be used to make fences, houses, furniture, and more! Forests are
renewable resources. As long as we replant trees, they'll come back!

Granite is a very important stone found in this region. Granite is used to make many things, but mainly
it's used for countertops in kitchens and bathrooms. Granite is a nonrenewable resource. It takes millions of years to form, so once it's gone, it can't be replaced.

The East Coast gives people the chance to fish and enjoy summers and family vacations along the beach.
Water in general is a renewable resources. Water is always being reused, but we also have to make sure we aren't wasting it!

Hope you enjoyed your virtual tour of the Northeast Region!
