Population is the number of people living somewhere. In this case, it's the number
of people living in the Southeast Region of the United States.
The population of the Southeast Region is large. As of 2020, there were over 97 million people living in the region. The most populated state in the region is Florida, with over 22 million people. The next most populated state is Georgia with only around 10.8 million people.
Unlike some of the other regions, the Southeast Region isn't very dense, or isn't
tightly filled. There's a lot of land for people to have space.
There are many resources in this region that the people use to do or make something.
