The Northeast Region's Landforms
Landforms are the different shapes on the Earth that change how the Earth looks.
The Northeast Region has many landforms. Some of those landforms are (click each bubble with each landform from left to right)...
The Appalachian Mountains are smaller mountains that combine into the 2,000-mile long mountain range that's called the "Appalachian Mountains". The Appalachian Mountains stretch from Alabama into Canada, cutting through the Northeast Region.

The East Coast is the beaches that run along the eastern side of the United States from Florida up to Maine. Some of the largest cities in the Northeast Region are near the East Coast. The East Coast provides people of this region with a cool breeze, tasty seafood, and a chance to set sail on the open seas!

The Northeast Region has many rivers and streams that pour into the Atlantic Ocean, the ocean that runs along the East Coast.
There are also many
ponds, lakes, creeks, etc.




The people in the Northeast Region have shaped this land to make it fit their purposes.
